In this 1965 interview, Alain Badiou interviews Michel Foucault, opening with the question “What is psychology?”
Foucault argues that psychology belongs to a certain form of culture that was constructed in the western world and delves into the relationship between psychology and philosophy. Psychology, argues Foucault, is the scientific version of what had been, up to that point, hidden by philosophy.
Unfortunately, only parts 1 and 2 have been translated with subtitles, and the subtitles are awkwardly positioned over Spanish subtitles.
